Samsung SDI Hungary publishes its environmental measurement data and commits to dialogue with the Göd community
At the Göd-ÉRT Association’s public forum the company announced: it will regularly make its environmental data public with measurements by independent experts. The first noise measurement produced a result below the limit value at the measuring points.
Göd, 1 June 2026 — Samsung SDI Hungary (SDIHU)announced at the public forum organised by the Göd-ÉRT Association that it will regularly publish the environmental measurement results carried out with independent experts and will continue the dialogue with the Göd community. The first measurement data are already available on the company’s Facebook page: the noise from the plant at the measuring pointsstayed below the limit value.
Regular, public measurement data
At the Göd-ÉRT Association’s public forum, Samsung SDI Hungary announced: from Friday it will regularly share the measurement results carried out by independent experts on the company’s Facebook page, and then on its soon-to-launch new website as well. As a first initiative, the company published the results of the noise measurement carried out on26 May 2026.
Noise load below the limit value
The noise measurements took place between 23:00 on 26 May 2026 and 00:30 on 27 May, in the nearest residential areas to be protected from noise, with the following findings:
- In front of the residential buildings along Zrínyi Street, the noise load caused by the plant was examined during pauses in the vehicle traffic of the M2 road.
- The noise from Samsung SDI Hungary’s Göd battery plant was, at the measuring points, below the relevantlimit value, or could not be determined independently of the background noise.
The company indicated that it will continue to make the results of environmental measurements regularly and publicly available, and will remain open to dialogue with the Göd community.
